Annette M. Andrus-Keough was born in Houston, TX but raised in bother Patterson & Sealy Texas. She graduated from Sealy High School in 1987 and moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana and attended Delta School of Business, for about 2 years then joined the U.S. Army in 1989.
After serving 21 years in the U.S. Army, she decided to pursue an Early Childhood Education degree from Jefferson Community College, in Watertown, New York. Upon graduation in 2011, her family relocated to Hawaii. With great passion and love for children she continued her educational growth and graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2015. Upon graduation she moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she started working as a Directress of a Toddler Classroom. While working there she started pursuing her master’s degree in Denver, Colorado at The Montessori Institute after attending one summer the U.S. Army relocated her family to Texas.
In July of 2021, the U.S. Army relocated her family back to Hawaii after living in Sealy for two years. Annette, her husband Zachary, and grandson Tre moved back with two dogs (Chase and Chi Chi). She enjoys cooking, eating, and traveling with her family.
In September of 2021, she began working at CBTSMS, as an After-School Program Teacher. Working in this school has motivated her to continue her educational journey to complete her master’s degree in Montessori education.
